Blue Like Jazz

Several of us went to a test screening of Blue Like Jazz Monday night at Cherry Creek. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Donald Miller’s 2003 NYT bestseller, its tagline is “Nonreligious thoughts on Christian spirituality.”

The movie is not typical “Christian” fare — it’s rated PG-13 for language and some adult situations (be ye warned). But there are many funny parts to it, and at least one scene that had us near tears. Below is the trailer to the movie, and I would urge everyone to go see it on April 13 when it opens, if for no other reason than to encourage and support Christian faith-based independent film.
